Director of Talent Acquisition

BSA is seeking a relationship-driven Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and elevate our national recruiting efforts. In this role, you’ll be the face of BSA to the external talent market—actively sourcing top-tier candidates, cultivating a strong pipeline of passive talent, and building lasting relationships. You’ll shape and execute a forward-thinking recruitment strategy across all disciplines, partnering with firm leaders to ensure we attract exceptional people who bring our purpose to life.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a proactive recruiting strategy that connects BSA with outstanding talent across Architecture, Engineering, Interiors, Planning, and support roles.
  • Build and nurture robust pipelines of passive candidates through strategic outreach, referrals, events, and direct relationship-building.
  • Actively engage with talent in key markets and disciplines, serving as a brand ambassador for BSA’s purpose, culture, and employee-owner experience.
  • Represent BSA at professional events, conferences, university career fairs, and networking gatherings to elevate visibility and form new talent relationships.
  • Partner with firm leaders to understand evolving business needs, identify talent gaps, and target high-impact hires across disciplines and regions.
  • Collaborate with HR and Marketing to refine our employer brand and enhance our digital and social recruiting presence.
  •  Use sourcing tools, ATS, and recruiting data to track engagement, optimize outreach strategies, and share market insights.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition with a strong focus on sourcing, networking, and candidate engagement.
  • Proven success recruiting in a professional services or design-focused environment; AEI industry experience strongly preferred.
  • A natural connector with strong interpersonal skills, a persuasive communication style, and an authentic approach to building trust.
  • Track record of cultivating long-term relationships with passive candidates and delivering strategic hires through outreach and sourcing campaigns.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ADP, etc.).
