We’re seeking a strategic, high-energy Director of Talent Acquisition to lead our recruiting operations with a strong focus on data, metrics, and scalable systems. This is a leadership role charged with building the future of our talent pipeline and ensuring we remain a top destination for world-class design professionals.

The Role:

As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will lead all aspects of recruitment strategy, execution, and optimization across the firm. This includes managing national and studio-level recruitment activities, aligning talent efforts with business priorities, and maintaining a metrics-driven culture that supports our high-growth trajectory.

You’ll collaborate closely with our HR Business Partners and Talent Leaders across 30+ studios, ensuring our recruitment strategies are tailored, inclusive, and effective. You’ll also own and elevate our recruitment technology, including our internal applicant tracking system and our relationship with LinkedIn, ensuring best-in-class functionality and usage.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Define and lead the firmwide talent acquisition strategy in alignment with business and growth goals.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert for all recruitment activities across the firm.
    • Partner with the Chief People Officer and Studio HRBPs to forecast hiring needs, identify gaps, and drive performance.
    • Manage LinkedIn relationship and ensure platform utilization is optimized for strategic sourcing and branding
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Own and refine use of our internal recruitment database to ensure consistent, data-driven decisions and performance metrics tracking.
    • Implement scalable recruitment systems and processes to support studio-specific and firmwide hiring.
    • Ensure consistent use of applicant tracking systems for robust pipeline reporting and candidate engagement.
  • Talent Sourcing & Branding:
    • Devise and execute compelling employer branding and job marketing strategies.
    • Promote our culture, values, and design excellence to attract top talent.
    • Research and source passive candidates through online channels and industry-specific platforms.
    • Attend design conferences, job fairs, and build long-term pipelines via strategic networking.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion:
    • Develop outreach strategies to engage with underrepresented talent pools.
    • Build and maintain partnerships with HBCUs, NOMA, and other affinity organizations.
    • Promote inclusive hiring practices and candidate evaluation frameworks 

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, preferably within AEC or design-related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and scaling recruiting functions in high-growth environments.
  • Deep understanding of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing strategies.
  • Proven track record of building and optimizing recruiting systems and performance metrics.
  • Strong command of LinkedIn Talent Solutions, ATS platforms, and candidate sourcing tools.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with creative job advertising and social media-driven campaigns.
  • Passion for design, creativity, and working with diverse talent.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting for equity and diversity.
  • Role reports to the Chief People Officer.
