Responsibilities:
 

  • Support the recruitment efforts for Head Office Operations roles across Canada, United States, and Puerto Rico.
  • Maintain consistent communication with hiring managers and stakeholders, providing timely updates on candidate pipelines and recruitment progress.
  • Utilize search platforms to post job advertisements, source candidates, and screen applications.
  • Gain a deep understanding of role requirements and identify transferable skills to support recruitment beyond traditional industry boundaries.
  • Coordinate and conduct initial candidate screenings as well as administer appropriate skills assessments.
  • Organize and participate in interviews alongside hiring managers and team leads.
  • Contribute to ongoing labor market research to inform sourcing strategies and recruitment initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation of compelling and informative job postings to attract top talent.
  • Support the ongoing development and optimization of talent acquisition processes and best practices.
  • Provide regular feedback and reporting on recruitment metrics, candidate engagement, and hiring timelines.
  • May support employee engagement initiatives and activities to enhance workplace culture.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned, based on evolving departmental needs.

 

Qualifications:
 


  • Minimum of 1 year of recruitment experience is required.

  • Professional proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in technical recruitment is considered an asset.
  • Previous recruitment experience within the insurance industry is an asset.
  • Familiarity with U.S. and/or Canadian employment legislation is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to deliver difficult or sensitive information with a professional and empathetic approach.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in using various technologies and adaptable to learning new software and tools.
  • Capable of maintaining a positive, solution-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement, demonstrating a growth mindset and a proactive approach to learning.
  • Dependable, trustworthy, and able to always maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and accountability for tasks and deliverables.
  • Must reside and be authorized to work in the USA.

Pay Range - $28.00 - $29.50/ hr USD


The compensation range reflects a data-driven estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment. Individual pay may vary based on geographic location, job related skills, knowledge, experience, education etc.
