Day to day tasks include, but not limited to the following:

  • Partners with Managers to obtain and confirm search requests that clearly indicate key responsibilities, requirements, environmental conditions, compensation, target audience (internal and/or external), timeframes, etc.
  • Performs comprehensive targeted research strategy for qualified candidates via internal databases, job boards, schools, professional associations, business contacts with other companies, and discussions with other research personnel.
  • Researches, assembles, analyzes and makes recommendations regarding recruiting metrics.
  • Interviews and screens candidates to ensure their qualifications meet open positions.
  • Oversees pre-employment requirements to ensure compliance and proper applicant tracking flow and records maintenance.
  • Collaborates with other HR functions on recruiting issues (e.g., new hire requirements, compensation, etc).
  • Presents job opportunities to qualified candidates.
  • Coordinates with Human Resources to ensure all new hiring processing takes place on the employee's first day of work.
  • Collaborate with HR Team on maintaining compliance tracking logs resumes, interviews, and new hires.
  • Conduct resume search through websites (LinkedIn, Social Media, and job boards).
  • Respond to candidates following the interview process.
  • Document processes and foster good relationships with potential candidates and past applicants.


Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of human resource experience with an emphasis on recruiting or one (1) to four (4) years of agency recruiting.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred or equivalent experience, human resources or related major preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience providing full cycle recruiting for a variety of professional, administrative and field positions. Construction industry experience is a plus.
  • Must be a professional and possess a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with others and communicate effectively at all staff levels.
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Work, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of social media and internet recruiting
  • Position requires a minimum of 40 hours a week with the possibility of overtime and some travel.
  • Valid drivers license with approved/ acceptable driving history required.
  • Prefer candidates with experience in recruiting within the construction industry.

Working/ Environment/ Physical Demandsย to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
