Role: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Inwood, New York (Far Rockaway area). Full-time, onsite role.

As an Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a key role in sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for various clinical positions within Discovery ABA. You'll help source applicants, coordinate interviews, and assist with the initial onboarding process.

Salary:

$50,000-$60,000+ depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sourcing candidates using a variety of methods including job boards, social media, cold-calling and networking.
  2. Outreach to candidates to schedule interviews and assess their qualifications for open positions.
  3. Conducting interviews, understanding the field of ABA, and if an applicant is a suitable fit for the role they applied for.
  4. Overseeing the onboarding process, ensuring required documentation and paperwork is completed quickly.
  5. Creating and posting job advertisements on our ATS platform to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  6. Coordinating communication between applicants and the scheduling team.
  7. Maintaining and updating applicant tracking systems to ensure smooth recruitment workflows.
  8. Assisting with various HR tasks related to recruitment, including job descriptions, candidate assessments, and follow-ups.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Facebook and LinkedIn preferred
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Psychology is a plus
  • Experience in the ABA field is a plus
  • Experience using salesforce is a plus
  • Recruiting experience is a plus
  • Ability to commute to our Inwood, NY office (near Far Rockaway) Monday-Thursday
