We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our rapidly growing organization by attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across engineering, business development, skilled trades, and production roles. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner closely with hiring managers, Human Resources, and external partners to meet immediate hiring needs while also supporting long-term workforce planning. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the business, creative sourcing strategies, consistent follow-up, and the ability to hire for both technical capability and cultural fit.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of technical, skilled trades, and professional roles.
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize urgent hiring needs while managing multiple requisitions.
Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines aligned with current and future hiring needs.
Accountable for time-to-fill and pipeline health, ensuring hiring goals are met.
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team needs, and growth plans, providing guidance when hiring needs are evolving.
Translate business growth goals into hiring plans and recruitment strategies.
Develop creative sourcing strategies using both traditional and non-traditional recruiting channels.
Screen and interview candidates with a focus on skills, safety mindset, and cultural alignment.
Coordinate interviews and hiring decisions while delivering a positive, respectful candidate experience.
Participate in community-based recruiting efforts, events, and workforce partnerships.
Provide clear reporting and updates to stakeholders on recruiting progress, pipeline health, and market trends.
Maintain accurate applicant tracking system records and recruiting metrics.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and applicable employment regulations.
Support onboarding efforts to help new hires feel welcomed and prepared from day one.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
2–5 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or skilled trades environments, including hiring for technical and hard-to-fill roles.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, and compliance requirements.
Experience using applicant tracking systems, modern sourcing tools, and Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems quickly.
Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills for both technical and non-technical roles.
Creative, strategic approach to sourcing, employer branding, and pipeline development.
Willingness to travel occasionally for recruiting events.
