Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter - Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and growing organization. In this role, you will assist in sourcing, screening, and attracting talent for a variety of roles within the organization with a focus on manufacturing hourly roles. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the full recruitment life cycle under the guidance of the Talent Acquisition Lead and Human Resources Team Members.
  • Review resumes and applications, and conduct initial outreach to candidates via email, phone, or messaging platforms.
  • Conduct initial phone screens or pre-qualification interviews for basic role alignment.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Assist with creating and posting requisitions within the ATS.
  • Help manage the candidate pipeline and maintain communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Source potential candidates through online channels primarily with LinkedIn and additional social platforms as applicable. 
  • Assist to develop or improve from start to end recruitment process from assessment to selection process.
  • Help develop employee value propositions and employee branding. 
  • Measure Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) through recruiting reports (such as Time to Fill, Interviews to Offers, and Hires).
  • Attend career fairs, networking events, with local colleges or trade schools and other outreach initiatives as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve sourcing strategies and candidate experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
  • Strong interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, and human resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to communicate and interact effectively with both external (candidates) and internal team members at all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Indeed, or other sourcing platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or HR software is preferred, but not required.  Experience with ADP Recruitment is a real bonus.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

  • Internship or previous administrative/recruiting experience.
  • Basic understanding of employment law and recruiting best practices.
  • Knowledge of Boolean or smart search techniques.
