The mission of the Talent Acquisition Specialist at Cozey

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, reporting to Selina Melo, Manager, Talent Acquisition, your mission is to attract and hire exceptional talent across our corporate and engineering functions. In a fast-paced environment like ours, every hire has an outsized impact. You’ll play a key role in elevating the quality of our team, ensuring we move quickly while never compromising fit or excellence.


What you'll be doing

  • Own and execute the hiring plan for corporate and engineering roles by partnering with hiring managers to understand needs, aligning role scoping, and running fast recruitment processes.
  • Champion structured hiring by supporting and coaching hiring managers on interviewing techniques, process consistency, and decision-making frameworks that lead to better quality hires.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring every candidate feels respected and valued from first touchpoint to offer.
  • Support and evolve key TA programs such as employee referrals, interviewer certification, and hiring process improvements to help us continuously raise the bar.
  • Represent Cozey externally by attending career fairs and networking events to connect with great people and grow our talent pipeline.


We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of what great talent looks like and the ability to act as a true gatekeeper of quality of hire, across both corporate and engineering roles.
  • Deep knowledge of recruitment best practices, with a focus on building rigorous, consistent, and candidate-centric hiring processes.
  • Confidence and credibility to coach and influence hiring managers, helping them elevate both quality of hire and the overall candidate experience.
  • Highly collaborative, with a natural ability to build strong, trusting relationships with hiring managers and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience working with an ATS and leveraging it to drive process discipline, data, and insights.
  • Bonus: Exposure to structured hiring methodologies such as Topgrading or behavioral interviewing.
