Epika Fleet Services is seeking an experienced and proactive Talent Acquisition Partner to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring Mobile Diesel Technicians and Mobile Trailer Technicians across multiple brands and regions. The right candidate has a minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience specifically focused on skilled labor positions and has successfully operated in a remote environment.
Please note: This position requires hands-on experience recruiting for skilled labor or trade roles (e.g., diesel technicians, mechanics, field service workers). Candidates with experience only in corporate, IT, technical, or medical recruiting will not be considered. Applicants from North/Northeast regions only will be considered. Candidates located in other regions will not be considered. Availability to work in CST hours occasionally will be required.
Responsibilities
What You Will Do:
- Perform full-cycle recruiting for mobile diesel and trailer technician roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
- Develop and maintain pipelines of technician talent, focusing on candidates with relevant mechanical experience and certifications.
- Use a variety of sourcing methods—job boards, social media, LinkedIn, cold outreach—to find passive and active candidates.
- Partner with regional operations and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and technician profiles.
- Deliver an outstanding candidate experience, managing communication and expectations every step of the way.
- Screen candidates for technical experience, certifications, field-readiness, and cultural fit.
- Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date data in Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting tools to support reporting and decision-making.
- Ensure all hiring practices are compliant with federal, state, and company policies.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, with a proven track record recruiting for skilled trades, technicians, or mechanics.
- Demonstrated success recruiting diesel technicians, trailer mechanics, or field-based service personnel.
- Experience working remotely, with strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with ATS systems and a clear understanding of the importance of data integrity, consistency, and reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with candidates and internal teams.
- Capable of managing multiple openings across various states in a multi-facted, fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Based in the EST Time Zone with regional knowledge of technician labor markets
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field
- Previous experience recruiting within transportation, fleet services, diesel repair, or related trades
- Knowledge of technician certifications (ASE, DOT, etc.) or relationships with trade schools and workforce development programs
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
