About the role

In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of end to end recruitment across a portfolio of professional roles, partnering closely with leaders to attract, engage and appoint high quality talent aligned to Capricorn’s values, culture and future capability needs. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll provide insight on market conditions, workforce needs and attraction strategies, supporting leaders to make informed, effective hiring decisions.

You’ll play a key role in shaping positive, inclusive candidate experiences and continuously improving recruitment practices across the organisation. As part of the People & Capability team, you’ll also collaborate with colleagues across the business to strengthen Capricorn’s employer brand and support broader people initiatives when needed.

What you’ll bring

You’re a relationship driven talent acquisition professional who combines strong market insight with a practical, solutions focused approach. You’re confident partnering with leaders, and committed to delivering high quality recruitment outcomes and exceptional candidate experiences.

You’ll have:

• Proven experience managing the end to end recruitment lifecycle across professional roles
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to advise and partner effectively with leaders
• Sound understanding of attraction strategies, candidate assessment and interview techniques
• A commitment to inclusive, equitable recruitment practices aligned with diversity and inclusion principles
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, timely and transparent updates to candidates and stakeholders
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

Experience & qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional recruitment, with the ability to manage roles across a broad range of seniority, from junior through to senior leadership and executive appointments.
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline (advantageous, but not essential)
