The Manager, Talent Acquisition will lead a team of recruiters and oversee full-cycle recruiting strategies to attract and hire top-tier insurance professionals across multiple functions and locations in the United States and Canada. Reporting to the Director of TA, this role will drive efficiency, innovation, and strategic workforce planning while ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of brokerage recruitment, market trends, and employer branding. Additionally, this role will partner with hiring managers, HR teams, and business leaders to align hiring efforts with company objectives and ensure recruitment strategies support business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, training, and performance management.
· Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for key roles at One80, including Underwriters, Claims, and Customer Service professionals through strategic sourcing channels.
· Monitor and manage recruiter workloads, ensuring optimal resource allocation for a high-volume pipeline.
· Will actively engage in hands-on, full lifecycle recruiting of aligned client groups
· Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-caliber talent.
· Partner closely with Stakeholders to understand workforce needs, develop targeted hiring strategies, and ensure timely fulfillment of open positions.
· Utilize Workday and other ATS platforms to track, report, and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize hiring strategies.
· Apply data insights and market intelligence to enhance sourcing strategies and hiring outcomes.
· Strengthen employer branding efforts by enhancing the company’s reputation in the talent market.
· Manage relationships with external vendors, including staffing agencies and executive search firms, to supplement recruitment efforts as needed.
· Partner with the Onboarding Team to ensure smooth offer management and new hire integration.
· Stay up to date on industry trends, employment laws, and best practices to ensure compliance and maintain competitiveness.
· Track and report key recruitment metrics, leveraging insights to continuously improve recruitment effectiveness.
· Implement and refine recruitment processes to drive efficiency, scalability, and quality.
Qualifications & Experience:
· 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced insurance or financial services environment.
· 2+ years of people management experience, with a track record of coaching and developing recruiters.
· Strong expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter and passive sourcing techniques.
· Hands-on experience with Workday (required) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
· Experience with Smartsheet (a plus).
The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected annual pay range for this position is between $110,000 to $150,000 plus discretionary bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
