Talent Acquisition Intern

The Internship/Role:

 

Help us attract top talent to join the Edwards team. Gain hands-on experience sourcing and evaluating candidates, coaching and advising hiring managers, and supporting our new starters into the business, to give them the best possible experience.

 

During a 10 week, with option to extend, paid internship, you will work closely with Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers to identify staffing needs, manage expectations, and assist in all aspects of the recruiting cycle. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting or Hunam Resources. 

 

The Internship:

  • Assist with selection criteria and source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • Assist with and shadow interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
  • Assist in designing job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
  • General HR Administration and Research
  • Design and implement an employee retention survey, with interviews to support
  • Compose/update standard operating procedures 
  • Produce measurable data and present in a visually engaging way, present to management

 

You will have:

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree in progress/recently completed
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to nurture trusting relationships
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A flexible approach to projects
  • Team player who is keen to work closely with the wider HR team, Operations and other Edwards employees
