Position Summary:
The Jr Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a vital role in sourcing, attracting, and placing top talent across all departments within the hospital system. The Jr Talent Acquisition Coordinator manages the full recruitment and onboarding lifecycle—from candidate sourcing and interview coordination to offer letters, onboarding, and early-stage employee engagement.

The coordinator must actively source candidates, pre-screen applicants, and connect viable candidates with department leaders within 24 hours to expedite the interview process. In addition to recruitment efforts, this role provides administrative support for various HR functions, including employee records, benefits, training, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and recruit qualified healthcare professionals across multiple service lines within the hospital system.
  • Conduct regular meetings with department leaders to understand staffing needs and address recruiting challenges.
  • Source candidates through a variety of channels including job boards, internal systems, third-party vendors, and community networks.
  • Attend job fairs and build relationships with local workforce partners and educational institutions.
  • Maintain urgency and consistency in communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ensure candidates are screened and presented to hiring leaders within 24 hours of application.
  • Coordinate interviews, draft offer letters, and assist in onboarding processes.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other HRIS tools.
  • Maintain employment records and compile data for HR reporting purposes.
  • Support broader HR functions as needed, including EEO, benefits, and training.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems and/or HRIS platforms.
  • Previous experience in HR, talent acquisition, or healthcare recruitment is a plus.
