Job Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Classification: Exempt

Schedule: Monday through Friday, Day Shift

Location: Remote in Michigan

Job Overview: 

Reporting to the HR Business Partner & Marketing Manager, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for executing the recruiting lifecycle processes and is responsible for sourcing and reviewing resumes, screening candidates, coordinating interviews and hiring diverse talent in healthcare. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will also support talent retention initiatives.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Exemplify superior customer service skills as the first point of contact for applicants.
  • Lead the recruiting process, including but not limited to, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, administering assessments, etc. 
  • Support HR & Training with drafting and extending offers of employment. Offer types may include full-time, part-time, exempt, non-exempt, etc.
  • Proficiently utilize the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Take initiative to contribute ideas for process improvement.
  • Support HR Business Partner & Marketing Manager with data analytics initiatives.
  • Be knowledgeable and actively practice efforts to support diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • May be responsible for participating in the onboarding and training of new team members. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for This Role:  

  • 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
  • 2+ years of recruiting and/or sales.
  • Data analytics experience highly desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or related systems. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to treat others with compassion and patience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • All employees are required to comply with HIPAA policies and procedures.

Desired Qualifications for this Role:

  • Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) certification highly desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Travel:

This position may require light ground and/or air travel.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by a Corporate Recruiter to successfully perform the essential competencies, duties, and requirements of this position.  These include standing, walking, driving, lifting up to 50 pounds and sitting for extended periods of time and looking at a computer screen for extended periods of time.  In addition, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting and shifting heavy objects, as well as air travel, may be required.  Employees should ask for assistance if needed.
