We are excited to be adding an accounting and finance Talent Acquisition Consultant to our team! 

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Partner with the team to execute sourcing strategies for entry to mid-level accounting and finance roles (e.g., Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Audit Associate, Tax Associate, FP&A Analyst).

  • Identify and engage candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, campus programs, referrals, community groups, and professional associations.

  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess qualifications, interest, and compensation alignment; route qualified candidates to hiring teams.

  • Coordinate interviews end-to-end (scheduling, logistics, confirmations, feedback collection) and ensure a smooth candidate experience.

  • Maintain accurate candidate, requisition, and activity data in our applicant tracking system, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

  • Support the offer process by coordinating compensation details, gathering required documentation, and assisting with background/onboarding steps.

  • Prepare basic market research summaries, talent maps, and compensation snapshots for recruiter and hiring manager review.

  • Contribute to posting and refreshing job ads, employer branding content, and networking outreach to expand diverse talent pipelines.

  • Track and report simple metrics (pipeline status, time-to-fill checkpoints, source-of-hire) to help the team monitor progress.

  • Communicate professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders, providing timely updates and next steps.

  • Participate in regular team meetings, share market/candidate insights, and recommend process improvements.

  • Develop an annual Personal Development Plan outlining individual learning goals and skill-building activities.

  • Support cross-functional collaboration with clients, and hiring managers to align role requirements and timelines.

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; relevant coursework or internships in HR, recruiting, or accounting/finance a plus.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and major job boards.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities.

  • Customer-service mindset with a high sense of urgency and professional presence in candidate and client interactions.

  • Interest in building knowledge of accounting and finance roles, credentials, and career paths.



Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent 
  • Some relevant industry experience
  • Must obtain required licenses/credentials
  • Superior command of verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
