We are looking for an experienced and outgoing Contract Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator to focus on staffing our PACE clinics in the CA market. You’ll join our team at a critical point in our growth trajectory: over the next few years, we expect to hire 50-100+ clinical staff for our participant-facing care teams. For this role, you will own direct-sourcing & full-lifecycle recruitment through to the job-offer stage, for the roles you are assigned.
Core Responsibilities & Expectations:
- In partnership with the PACE Executive Director and the Talent Acquisition Specialist, contribute to the recruitment process for clinical and operational roles in our PACE markets, including sourcing, scheduling, and conducting initial interviews.
- Source potential candidates through professional associations and online platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
- Facilitate the hand-off between Talent Acquisition and People Operations to ensure new hires feel supported and have clarity during the pre-boarding process.
- Maintain a high-touch, supportive experience for new hires during the transition period, answering questions and setting expectations for next steps.
- Support the People Operations team by maintaining accurate team member records and providing credentialing and immunization information, including guiding new hires through clearance and onboarding requirements.
- Establish and maintain a network of qualified candidates.
- Manage candidate communications and interview processes using our applicant tracking system.
- Project manage the interview process from start to finish and align the hiring team to ensure Habitat meets critical hiring deadlines.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
Experience that drives success in this role:
- 3 years in recruiting and onboarding, specifically, within clinical environments.
- Experience in direct-sourcing of clinical talent - including Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses, Physical & Occupational Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Personal Care Attendants, Medical Assistants, etc. - utilizing various sourcing strategies (e.g., Linkedin, Sourcing boards, direct networking, alumni associations, and innovative means to access talent).
- Hands-on experience recruiting and onboarding for an early-stage startup.
- Proficiency in using ATS and HR systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Rippling).
- Must be able to work PST hours.
Nice to have experience:
- Highly desired: experience with recruitment for PACE organizations
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle physician recruitment and building a physician pipeline.
Compensation:
We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining a final rate of pay. The expected 1099 hourly rate for this position is $40 - $50 per hour. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
