Central Alberta Co-op
Full-time

Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring two Talent Acquisition Supervisors on a permanent basis on our People & Culture team.

We are seeking two fearless leaders who aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo. These individuals will support a passionate, fun team within a complex business model. The successful candidates will lead with authenticity, be comfortable having crucial conversations, and have broad human resources knowledge.

This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Western Canada.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide support to Talent Acquisition Specialists for hard to fill roles, non-standard salary proposals, and grievance management.
  • Engage in frequent one-on-one communication with direct reports on progress, risks, and successes. Ultimately you will be responsible for resource allocation, regular feedback, and mentorship.
  • Lead the full cycle recruitment and selection process for executive-level positions at FCL or local Co-ops.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement of recruitment processes by communicating requirements and pain points to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition & Sourcing.

Who you’ll work with:

Each Supervisor will lead a pod of recruiters and HR Administrators under the direction of the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition & Sourcing. You will collaborate often with professionals across our People & Culture team, leaning on their expertise. You will also interact regularly with leaders at local Co-ops, FCL, and the Co-op Refinery Complex. Ultimately, you will work to maintain a unified and engaged Talent Acquisition team so that they may best support our stakeholders.

Why it matters:

We help local Co-ops grow and thrive by offering a range of professional services, including marketing, market research, information technology, human resources, accounting, risk management and business development.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in human resources leadership and:

  • Have 6-9 years of progressively responsible HR leadership experience.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or social sciences (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Are deeply familiar with the full cycle recruitment and talent acquisition programs.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salaries, short-term incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, and an employer-contributed pension plan.
  • Encouragement to take advantage of learning opportunities to grow and develop as a Team Member.
  • As a co-operative, we do business differently. We believe in working together to serve Western Canadians, delivering profits back to our communities and investing in sustainable growth. To learn more about who we are and what we offer, visit www.fcl.crs.

We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment process to ensure an enjoyable candidate experience. If this opportunity speaks to you, we invite you to apply. This opportunity will be posted until filled.

We thank all candidates for their interest, however only those selected to continue in the recruitment process will be contacted.

As this position is considered a position of trust, you may be required to complete a criminal record check in accordance with FCL policies.

FCL embraces diversity and inclusion. We’re working to create a workforce that is as diverse as the communities we serve and an environment where every team member brings their whole self to work. We believe all candidates should feel at home with us and be given the opportunity to fully participate during the recruitment process.
