DescriptionAs a Sr Specialist Talent Acquisition, you will key role in our retail transformation as we look to attract the best and brightest talent to Staples. You will own full lifecycle recruiting within U.S. Retail focusing on store leadership to support the growth of our business. You will be joining a fun and motivated talent acquisition team that is leveraging the right recruitment tools (i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed) as we also look at more cutting-edge technology to help you focus on what you do best: finding and attracting talent.
This position is remote, though does require the candidate to be local to the Western region, which includes California, Oregon, Washington, and Nevada.

Develop strong relationships internally and externally to successfully identify and hire exceptional talent.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR leaders to identify key requirements, be the expert at assessing talent, and collaborate on hiring recommendations and workforce planning
- Nurture candidate relationships, clearly outline role expectations, speak with passion, actively communicate and be transparent with candidates throughout the process
- Collaborate and participate with HR and other areas of the business on recruiting, operations, and any other related projects, initiatives, deliverables, and other responsibilities as assigned
Identify, source and interview candidates to fill key roles quickly and within identified timeframes.
- Work in partnership with the business to understand their needs, create the recruitment strategy (inclusive of a diverse slate of candidates), identify challenges and determine solutions
- Utilize social media, CRM, networking sites, ATS, organizations and other sources to find and attract talent
- Own the full lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing, attracting and screening candidates, developing short/long-term pipelines, closing candidates and everything in between
Requirements:
- 4+ years high volume recruiting and sourcing experience
- Experience finding qualified candidates in a competitive labor market using authentic messaging and leveraging new and emerging technologies
- Demonstrated success being a collaborative and consultative partner with hiring managers and HR leaders, including being seen as an expert in assessing and closing talent
- Previous experience meeting hiring and sourcing goals and metrics
- Demonstrated ability to effectively source through multiple channels and leverage available tools and resources to increase the diversity of applicant pools
- Success in overcoming challenges and an unwavering commitment to accountability and results
