We are Rolls Royce SMR - the future of nuclear power generation in the UK!

We have this week been formally confirmed contractual partner to Great British Energy - Nuclear as we consolidate our leading-edge technology, impeccable engineering provenance and competitive commercial advantage in to one, irresistible proposition.

To bring this vision in to reality, we need the best, brightest and boldest colleagues we can find from both the nuclear sector and, more importantly, from adjacent sectors as we support the Destination Nuclear initiatives which will supercharge the growth of the nuclear workforce in the UK by at least a third in the next 5 years.

In real terms that equates us finding, recruiting and onboarding hundreds of new colleagues, mostly specialists, this year ... and thousands in the years to follow.

And we need you to help us find them - specifically for our Engineering Directorate!

However, whilst we know the the very best and brightest recruiters have skills that can transfer across disciplines, functions, locations, platforms and hiring communities, as we are looking for someone for a fixed 12 month period who will make a resoundingly positive impact from day 1, we're going to be quite specific on what you'll bring. We need you to be:

  • A Senior Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Partner who is able to start in early May (subject to vetting), mid-May latest.

  • Able to demonstrate that you have managed and delivered end-to-end campaigns in STEM disciplines (engineering preferred) and recruited at least 120 professional/specialist hires directly per year with minimal agency support

  • Willing, and able, to commute to Manchester and/or Warrington and spend at least one full day in the office every week with the rest of the team

  • Capable of showing the highest levels of candidate and hiring team care and engagement

Our Application Process


Due to the safety regulations within the nuclear industry, applicants will be required to participate in additional screening. These are:


•    Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
•    Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
•    Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check
