Position Overview

The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (Manufacturing) is a strategic and hands-on recruiting expert responsible for driving talent acquisition initiatives within the manufacturing sector. This role partners closely with business leaders, HR professionals, and hiring managers to deliver high-caliber talent, shape the employer brand, and ensure a world-class candidate experience. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner leverages deep industry knowledge, robust sourcing strategies, and data-driven insights to fulfill critical workforce needs and support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Talent Acquisition: Work collaboratively with senior leadership and business partners to assess hiring needs, create workforce plans, and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to the manufacturing environment.
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a range of roles including production, operations, engineering, supply chain, and leadership positions. This includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Sourcing and Talent Pipelining: Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-potential candidates, including passive talent, using job boards, social media, industry events, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Talent Market Intelligence: Conduct market mapping, competitive analysis, and research to stay informed about talent trends, compensation benchmarks, and emerging skills crucial to manufacturing.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong consultative relationships with business leaders and hiring managers. Advise on talent market dynamics, capability gaps, and best practices for attracting and selecting top talent.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless, engaging, and professional experience for all candidates from first contact through onboarding. Champion employer branding and communicate the company’s culture and values effectively.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Integrate DEI principles into sourcing and selection processes. Develop initiatives to attract diverse candidates and support inclusion throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, and candidate satisfaction. Use insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging technology and automation where appropriate to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Employer Brand Ambassador: Promote the organization’s manufacturing excellence and career opportunities at industry events, career fairs, and through digital channels.
  • Compliance: Ensure recruitment activities adhere to all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies, particularly as they relate to health and safety in manufacturing.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Progressive talent acquisition experience, a mix of agency and inhouse experience would be ideal, industrial/manufacturing experience is considered a strong plus
  • Demonstrated track record of successful recruitment for high-volume production environments and specialized manufacturing roles.
  • Expertise in modern sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, social recruiting, and digital networking.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing industry trends, technologies, and key talent drivers.

  • Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and recruitment marketing technology.
  • Confidentiality: Upholds the highest level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Language skills: French & English Fluent is a must
