The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing high-volume sales recruiting efforts while collaborating with the Talent team to meet the hiring needs of the business. This role focuses on identifying and attracting top sales talent through strategic sourcing, relationship building, and efficient hiring processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage full-cycle, high-volume sales recruiting, including job postings, proactive sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending competitive offers to candidates.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract top sales professionals through job boards, social media, networking, and industry-specific platforms.
  • Build strong pipelines of qualified sales candidates to support ongoing hiring needs and business growth.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, develop targeted recruiting plans, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and other internal teams streamline the candidate experience from offer acceptance to onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics, ensuring speed-to-hire and quality-of-hire while meeting or exceeding KPI benchmarks.
  • Utilize ATS and CRM systems efficiently to manage high applicant volumes and maintain an organized talent pool.
  • Participate in career fairs, networking events, and campus recruiting efforts to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Assist with various Talent Acquisition projects, including process improvements, employer branding, and diversity hiring initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-5 years of high-volume recruiting experience in sales or a related field preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with experience in commission-based or performance-driven sales recruiting preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook) required; intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred.
  • Previous experience using Workday or other ATS systems preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills to engage and attract top sales talent.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and sell opportunities to potential candidates.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or other talent platforms strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the logistics or logistics services industry is a plus.

SCHEDULING

This is a full-time benefits-eligible position, working Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. An employee in this position must be available to work occasionally on weekends and evenings, during peak periods.

TRAVEL

Local travel is required. Out of state travel may be required for campus recruiting efforts and special training/conferences.
