Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our team and lead the full-cycle recruitment process for our growing insurance brokerage firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance industry—particularly in commercial lines, personal lines, employee benefits, or wholesale insurance—and a proven ability to source, attract, and retain top talent. You will play a vital role in helping us build high-performing teams that support our client service and sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
Develop targeted recruiting strategies to attract licensed producers, account managers, CSRs, underwriters, and other operational roles.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Leverage traditional and creative sourcing techniques including job boards, LinkedIn, networking events, and employee referrals.
Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Maintain and track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, candidate quality, etc.) and prepare regular reports for leadership.
Coordinate background checks, licensing verifications, and onboarding in collaboration with HR.
Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and insurance industry conferences when appropriate.
Qualifications:
3+ years of recruiting experience; preference given to those with experience in the insurance industry.
Familiarity with roles such as producers, account managers, client service representatives, and other brokerage support positions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and candidates.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
Preferred:
Prior experience working in or recruiting for an insurance brokerage (retail or wholesale).
Knowledge of insurance licensing and compliance requirements.
Experience recruiting for multiple states or remote teams.
