Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Partner with J&J HR, HR A&D, Sector and Regional TA leaders, business leaders, and BUHR to anticipate transformation needs, shape global recruiting strategies, and build scalable solutions that support major business transformations, including event-based hiring, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and other enterprise initiatives.
  • Influence senior leaders across a complex, matrixed environment by translating business priorities into clear TA strategies, aligning stakeholders around decisions, and driving accountability for outcomes.

Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed global team responsible for transformation recruiting programs and enterprise-level project delivery.
  • Ensure TA team members and RPI/RPO/ROD resources are fully trained, calibrated, and performing to plan.
  • Monitor global transformation project volumes, risks, dependencies, and resource needs, partnering with sector and regional teams to align ownership, accountability, and delivery plans across complex, high-dollar programs.
  • Operate with urgency and sound judgment to quickly assess needs, remove barriers, make decisions, and deliver solutions that support business continuity and organizational growth.
  • Develop, standardize, and continuously improve global transformation processes that are scalable, locally adaptable, and designed to deliver an outstanding experience for candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and business stakeholders.

Vendor & Program Management

  • Own end‑to‑end program governance, including contract development, vendor performance management, and financial oversight.
  • Build trusted, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners, leveraging those partnerships to solve complex problems, remove barriers, and lead discussions that support business-critical outcomes.

Implementation, Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead all phases of TA-related and recruiting elements of major transformations and event-based hiring programs, including delivery design, cost analysis, timeline management, change management, stakeholder communications, risk mitigation, and post-implementation optimization.
  • Define, track, and continuously improve SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics to ensure program success and business impact.
  • Leverage data and insights to identify emerging business needs, identify risks and opportunities, set strategic priorities, and drive continuous improvement across transformation hiring programs.
  • Build repeatable transformation playbooks and decision frameworks that allow the team to respond quickly to new business needs while maintaining quality, consistency, compliance, and a strong stakeholder experience.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 7+ years of Talent Acquisition or related HR experience, including 5+ years in global TA leadership roles (e.g., Global TA Delivery Leader, TA Program leader, TA Sector leader, etc.)
  • Proven experience in a senior Talent Acquisition leadership role, with a demonstrated track record of designing and executing enterprise-scale recruitment strategies and transformation programs, including key enablers such as process, technology, operating model, and organizational design.
  • Strong background in Talent Acquisition delivery, with the ability to adapt core TA strategies to local markets, functions, and talent segments while maintaining enterprise consistency.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing business plans, leading large-scale and complex global programs, solving ambiguous business challenges, and using data, metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Global talent perspective with experience operating effectively across regions, cultures, functions, and business segments in a highly matrixed, multinational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and scale high‑performing teams, including geographically dispersed and virtual teams.
  • Exceptional executive presence and stakeholder influence, with the ability to advise, challenge, and align senior leaders on complex talent strategies and time-sensitive business decisions.
  • Agile problem solver with the ability to operate in ambiguity, prioritize quickly, remove barriers, and deliver high-impact work at pace.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to engage with business partners, customers, and team members as required

Preferred

  • Experience across corporate recruiting, recruitment agencies, and/or RPO environments.
  • Experience leading and developing geographically dispersed teams in both virtual and onsite settings.
