We are seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and evolve our veterinary recruitment strategy. This role will oversee the full-cycle hiring process for veterinarians, field staff, and support teams, ensuring we attract and retain top talent in the industry. As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll develop data-driven hiring strategies, strengthen our employer brand, and manage a high-performing recruitment team.
Lead & Develop the Talent Acquisition Function – Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and oversight to a team of recruiters, ensuring a proactive and innovative hiring approach.
Shape Talent Acquisition Strategy – Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement a forward-thinking recruitment strategy that aligns with business goals and industry trends.
Optimize Recruitment Processes – Leverage technology, analytics, and market insights to enhance hiring efficiency and effectiveness.
Drive Employer Branding & Candidate Experience – Position our company as an employer of choice by promoting our culture, values, and career opportunities within the veterinary community.
Strengthen Talent Pipelines – Build relationships with veterinary schools, professional organizations, and industry partners to create sustainable hiring channels.
Experience: 5+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (veterinary or healthcare industry experience preferred).
Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to develop and execute high-impact hiring strategies in a fast-paced environment.
Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of veterinary workforce trends, hiring challenges, and talent engagement.
Technology & Analytics: Proficiency in ATS systems, data-driven decision-making, and modern sourcing techniques.
Executive Presence: Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
