Description: The Director of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for building and scaling our talent acquisition function from the ground up. This highly visible, hands-on leadership role will design the talent acquisition strategy, build the operating model, and deliver efficient, high-quality hiring outcomes that support Culligan’s current and future business goals. This role blends big-picture strategy with day-to-day execution, creating the vision for how we attract, assess, and hire talent, and then rolling up the sleeves to build the systems, processes, and team to make it real.

Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition Strategy
- Develop and own a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business growth, workforce planning, and long-term talent needs
- Partner closely with senior leadership, HR, and business leaders to understand hiring priorities and translate them into scalable hiring plans
- Define and evolve employer branding, candidate experience, and sourcing strategies across roles and geographies
- Use data and market insights to inform decisions around hiring models, workforce trends, and future capability needs
- Operational Excellence & Execution
- Build and evolve the talent acquisition function from the ground up, including processes, policies, tools, and governance
- Design and implement efficient, scalable hiring workflows from requisition intake through offer and onboarding partnership
- Select, implement, and optimize TA technology (ATS, sourcing tools, analytics, etc.) to drive efficiency and visibility
- Establish and track key performance metrics (time to fill, quality of hire, cost per hire, candidate experience, DEI outcomes)
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to reduce friction and increase speed and quality
- Develop strategies to expand diverse candidate pipelines and ensure equitable hiring practices
- Lead and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team as the organization grows
Requirements:
- 8–12+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including leadership roles
- Proven experience building or significantly transforming a talent acquisition function in a growing or complex organization
- Strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution—you can design the system and run it
- Deep knowledge of recruiting operations, workforce planning, and TA technology
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to drive decisions and influence stakeholders
- Excellent communication, change management, and relationship-building skills
- Experience in high-growth, startup, or transformation environments is preferred
- Multi-location hiring experience is preferred

Target Salary Range: $150,000 - 250,000 year. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for competitive benefits, including: paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, disability benefits and 401(k).Â
