Join us for an exciting 8-week internship where you'll gain hands-on experience in the world of talent acquisition! From coordinating interviews to networking with professionals, you'll be part of a dynamic recruiting team that’s passionate about building great relationships. Contribute to our sourcing strategies, support the candidate screening process, and learn how to work with cross-functional teams. The start date is June 15, 2026, and the schedule for this internship is Monday - Friday in office from 8 am - 5 pm. This position is based in Shafter, CA with possible travel to Los Angeles. You will report to the Associate Recruiter, CSR, and compensation will be $18.50/HR.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule interviews (virtual and in-person) for recruiters and hiring managers as needed
  • Open new requisitions and enter candidates into the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Review and disposition applicants in ATS
  • Collect new hire pre-onboarding documents and reference checks
  • Post job openings on the recruiter's boards
  • Update and edit job postings on career sites
  • Ensure consistent messaging to candidates throughout the recruiting process
  • Some local and/or day travel to attend career-related events
  • Work assignments across career center teams
  • Additional support to HR teams
  • Other duties assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age and a Wonderful Scholar active and eligible for college success scholarship
  • Must submit a resume, reference letter, and cover letter with your application
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work autonomously 
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • Live scan clearance
