Role Overview
This is a hands-on, high-volume recruiting role focused on execution and operational support. This position is not a strategic Corporate Recruiter or Talent Partner role. Instead, the Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter partners closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to support day-to-day recruiting activity across multiple markets.
The role primarily supports high-volume hiring for operational and field-based positions, helping to keep candidate pipelines moving through resume review, phone screening, interview coordination, sourcing, and pipeline management. Senior leadership and strategic searches are managed by the Talent Acquisition Manager.
This opportunity is best suited for early- to mid-career recruiting professionals who enjoy fast-paced environments, managing multiple requisitions, and the day-to-day work of keeping hiring processes organized, efficient, and moving forward.
About the Job
The Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter plays a key role in driving the day-to-day execution of Access’s national hiring efforts. Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role supports multiple concurrent openings across departments and locations. Success in this role requires strong organization, prioritization, a sense of urgency, and the ability to manage a high volume of candidates while maintaining hiring momentum and a positive candidate experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage multiple active requisitions across markets and functions
Review applications and identify qualified candidates based on role requirements
Conduct phone screens to assess experience, motivation, and alignment
Advance qualified candidates to hiring manager interviews based on defined criteria and role priorities
Escalate senior, complex, or strategic candidates to the Talent Acquisition Manager for alignment
Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for recurring and high-priority roles
Keep pipelines organized and engaged for current and future hiring needs
Schedule and coordinate interviews across hiring teams and time zones
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process
Deliver a professional, timely, and consistent candidate experience
Maintain accurate candidate records in Ashby, including timely stage movement, dispositioning, and communication to ensure pipeline visibility and compliance
Tag and track strong candidates for future opportunities
Monitor pipeline activity and follow up with hiring teams to ensure timely feedback and next steps
Manage job postings and related recruiting administration
Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to prioritize roles, candidate flow, and hiring needs
Assist with job description updates and documentation as directed by the Talent Acquisition Manager
Maintain recruiting templates, resources, and workflow documentation
Support organization and maintenance of Recruiting SharePoint, guides, and training materials
Help maintain interview guides and recruiting resources
Provide basic process guidance and support to hiring managers as needed
Help drive timely decision-making and maintain hiring momentum
Maintain strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through in a high-volume environment

About You
Preferred qualifications include:
2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
Experience supporting high-volume or multi-location hiring environments preferred
Experience recruiting in hospitality, events, or service-based industries preferred
Experience with Ashby or a similar ATS
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong communication and candidate relationship skills
Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused
Comfortable working remotely and managing priorities independently
Central Time availability preferred

Highly competitive base salary
