Essential Job Functions
- Accurately maintains requisitions and maintain a working knowledge of all position openings
- Screens applications, interviews, and evaluates capabilities of qualified applicants
- Arranges for interviews with management or supervisory staff, or peers as appropriate
- Ensures clear understanding of needs and assist in developing recruitment strategies
- Reviews and clarifies staffing needs with appropriate managers and supervisors in assigned areas
- Obtains references and all necessary credentials as appropriate
- Extends job offers on behalf of the hospital
- Assist with arranges for pre-employment health assessments
- Generates and maintains required records, reports and files
- Assists in preparing advertisements
- Maintains open and ongoing communication with the applicants, managers, and supervisors
- Maintains open and ongoing communication with HR Director and HR Staff
- Communicates the policies and benefits of the hospital to applicants
- Evaluates and communicates trends in recruitment and in the job market to recommend ideas for the development of strategies
- Advises and assists management staff in the application and interpretation of personnel policies, transfers, and terminations
- Plans, coordinates and participates in career day’s open houses and other recruitment related activities to attract qualified candidates
- Provides accurate information and data regarding primary areas of recruitment
- Attends required meetings and participates in recruitment related committees as requested
