We’re partnering with a global manufacturing company in the Spartanburg area to hire an internal Talent Acquisition professional to lead the plant's recruitment and hiring efforts.Â
Â
In this role, you’ll serve as the plant’s lead for recruiting and hiring, working closely with managers and supervisors across multiple departments to support a wide range of roles, from front-line production to skilled/technical and salaried positions. You’ll play a key role in shaping recruiting strategy, driving hiring activity, and supporting broader workforce and retention initiatives across the operation.
What you’ll do…
- Lead recruiting efforts for a high-volume manufacturing facility, supporting both front-line production hiring and skilled/technical roles that keep the operation running.
- Partner closely with HR and production leadership to understand staffing priorities, clarify role requirements, and align recruiting efforts with evolving operational needs.
- Spend time on the production floor building relationships with supervisors and managers, learning the nuances of each role and translating those insights into targeted recruiting strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates using a mix of job boards, referrals, community outreach, and proactive recruiting methods.
- Effectively qualify candidates for both front-line and technical positions, ensuring applicants have the skills, experience, and work ethic required to succeed in a manufacturing environment.
- Build strong working relationships with supervisors and hiring managers to maintain consistent communication, timely feedback, and efficient hiring decisions.
- Track recruiting activity, pipeline progress, and performance metrics, maintaining clear visibility into open roles, candidate flow, and weekly results.
- Contribute ideas to strengthen recruiting processes, tools, and workflows as the organization continues to scale and evolve.
What we’re looking for…
- 3+ years of recruiting experience in manufacturing environments.
- Experience recruiting for both front-line manufacturing roles and skilled/technical positions such as maintenance technicians, quality technicians, engineers, or other plant-critical talent.
- Ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously while maintaining strong organization, follow-up, and attention to detail.
- Highly organized and KPI-driven, with the ability to track and report progress across multiple active searches.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work directly with supervisors, plant leadership, and HR partners.
- Proactive and self-directed, someone who takes initiative, stays organized, and keeps searches moving without needing constant direction.
- Comfortable learning the operation firsthand, being on the plant floor, and developing a strong understanding of the roles being hired for.
- Proficiency with major job boards and recruiting platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc.)
