DescriptionThe Talent Acquisition Specialist II is responsible for full life cycle recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative internal and external sourcing methods.
This position will serve our U.S. Air Divisions. This position is fully remote, but will reside near the Fort Smith, Arkansas or Northwest Arkansas area. The estimated timeline will run February 2025 - August 2025. Opportunity for extension or temp to hire conversion could be available.
Responsibilities
- Consult with hiring managers to understand roles to be filled and profiles of ideal candidates.
- Manage intake calls and act as liaison with external agencies.
- Update requisition templates with posting descriptions.
- Use recruiting tools such as Oracle Recruiting Cloud to fill assignment orders rapidly with qualified contract employees.
- Train users on the Oracle Recruiting Cloud system (i.e., how to create a requisition, move candidates through the system, creating candidates, etc.)
- Develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
- Participate in employment events such as career fairs.
- Interview candidates to evaluate education, experience, training, and other qualifications using behavioral interviewing techniques.
- Scheduling and coordination of interviews, including booking travel for candidates as needed.
- Coordinate appropriate applicant testing such as interview assessments, background check and drug screening assessments
- Develop and maintain excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
- Manage dashboard and share recruiting information from Oracle Recruiting Cloud to organization leads.
- Manage analytics inside of Social media recruiting platforms (i.e., LinkedIn & Glassdoor)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 3+ years experience in full-cycle recruitment is required.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others is a matrix team environment.
- Knowledge of recruiting practices, tools and techniques.
- Ability to inform, guide and advise managers in hiring-related initiatives.
- Ability to develop a talent pipeline in order to increase individual and organizational effectiveness.
- Must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques.
- Extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding recruiting and hiring practices.
- Ability to grasp and understand the company's organizational structure.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to quickly shift priorities.
