We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Recruiter with a strong background in staffing agency recruitment and proven experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). This role supports both high-volume hiring and specialized welding and engineering roles in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple requisitions while maintaining accurate, compliant hiring records.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume roles as well as specialized welding and engineering positions
Utilize the ATS to track candidates, manage requisitions, document hiring activity, and ensure data accuracy and compliance
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, certifications, clearance needs, and hiring timelines
Source and screen skilled trade and engineering candidates using multiple recruiting channels
Coordinate with local union halls to submit requests for hire, as needed (preferred but not required)
Leverage sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other platforms to build qualified candidate pipelines
Deliver a consistent and positive candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding
Meet hiring goals, deadlines, and recruiting metrics in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Qualifications
3–4 years of recruiting experience, with staffing agency experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience managing candidates and requisitions within an ATS
Experience recruiting welding, engineering, or other skilled trade roles
Experience supporting Nuclear and/or Department of Defense (DoD) recruiting environments preferred
Familiarity with SmartSearch and UKG strongly preferred
Experience working with local union halls to coordinate requests for hire preferred but not required
Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
Comfortable working with technical hiring managers and adapting to fast-changing priorities
