Summary of Description:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist performs duties of highly technical nature in recruiting and sourcing for ReCon and clients of ReCon. This includes using online recruiting sources to source talent, schedule interviews with clients, onboarding new employees, and working with the HR Manager and Supervisor in developing effective recruiting strategies.


Duties:

  • Leverages networking and online recruiting resources (social networks, professional organizations, trade groups) and uses applicant tracking system to identify and recruits the best candidates.
  • Attracts, interviews, and qualifies applicants for all open positions including coordinating presence at job fairs.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs to the organization. 
  • Completes a preliminary interview of candidates, which could include the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies.
  • Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interview with managers, directors, and other stakeholders. 
  • Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates including scheduling and logistics of interviews.
  • Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and other recruiting activities to ensure a compliant and thorough audit.
  • Provides complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the positions including job descriptions and departmental information.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details. 
  • Coordinates the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in employment lifecycle recruiting.
  • Create procedures/training videos for HR Department, applicants, and employees. 
  • Ensure compliance with federal state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. 
  • Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. 

 Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field preferred with at least (3) three years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

License Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License as per State law or requirement.
  • Prefer SHRM-CP

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see and to perform repetitive motions.
  • Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
