The Opportunity: 

In this role, you’ll lead the design, delivery, and ongoing improvement of a dynamic, organisation-wide recruitment and selection framework that supports all Newcastle Anglican directorates.

This is a full time 12 month contract

Role & Responsibilities:   

  • Proactively source and engage top talent through passive recruitment strategies

  • Build strong relationships with external stakeholders and local education providers

  • Develop partnerships to support future talent pipelines

  • Educate internal teams on networking and talent pooling techniques

  • Provide insights through recruitment and market analytics

  • Contribute to strategic workforce planning and recruitment initiatives

  • Represent the organisation through professional networking opportunities

 

 About you? 

  • Qualification in Human Resources or similar, or experience in relevant field  
  • Current drivers’ licence 
  •  3+ years in a similar position 
  • Outstanding communication with evidence of highly developed skills in problem-solving and negotiation.  
  • Demonstrated ability to work with wide range of stakeholders to achieve organisational goals and objectives 
  • Excellent administration skills and demonstrated ability to effectively manage own workload and meet deadlines 
  • Strong competency in the use of Microsoft Suite, recruitment programs 

 

You will also be required to have or be willing to obtain a NSW Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children) , NDIS Worker Screening Check , National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes) and partake in a functional assessment
