Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports directly to the Director of Human Resources and is responsible for delivering top-tier talent with the ideal blend of skills and experience to drive organizational success. The successful candidate will act as a strategic consultant to the business, providing expert guidance in selecting the most suitable candidates, while also overseeing and executing recruitment strategies designed to meet organizational hiring needs effectively.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Full cycle recruitment including role definition and job descriptions, sourcing, candidate evaluation, quantitative assessments and selection processes, and relationship building with external and internal contacts in a manner that results in the highest quality, most efficient, and cost-effective outcome for the organization.
  • Play a key role in maintaining and enhancing a strong employment brand such that Exponential Power is the employer of choice.
  • Be the process owner and subject matter expert for all recruiting and selection processes used in the organization.  This includes defining the talent acquisition workflow, championing process improvements, and implementing measurements for recruiting and selection effectiveness.  As a part of a team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will develop a strategy and processes for “e-recruiting” that includes candidate management, applicant tracking, resume storage, pre-employment screening and onboarding process.
  • Own and drive the selection process.  Move to a more scientific approach in assessments and selection.  Utilize a higher degree of technology when required.
  • Solid experience sourcing diverse talent through multiple creative channels (i.e. via LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, industry conferences, and network groups)
  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing creative recruiting sourcing strategies and actively building a pipeline of talent, including active and passive candidates.
  • Experience handling and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Establish and maintain recruiting policies, practices, and metrics.
  • Develop a formal orientation process to streamline communication of company culture, benefits packages and branding message to all locations.

Qualifications

EDUCATION                                                                         Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resource related field

EXPERIENCE                                                                       Three to Five (3-5) years of human resources experience in an autonomous environment

                                                                                              HR Certification preferred-or willingness to obtain one

                                                                                              Experience with HR systems, preferably PayCom

                                                                                              Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE                                                    Computer Skills:  Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook

                                                                                              Impeccable written and verbal communication skills

                                                                                              Attention to detail

                                                                                              Exceptional interpersonal skills
