Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing a strategy to source, attract, and hire high-quality candidates. This individual plays a key role in building a strong workforce through employer branding by developing campaigns and messages to position our company as a preferred employer. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the full recruitment lifecycle. Travel to other Innovative Integrated Health may be necessary on occasion for coverage needs and management oversight.

Essential Job Functions
Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring the most qualified candidates through various sourcing channels such as social media, networking events, job boards, job fairs, and virtual job fairs.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract diverse, and qualified talent. Focuses on a long-term talent strategy and finds the top candidates for positions that require specific skill sets and licensure/certifications. Ensures the staffing needs of the organization are being met.
  • Partners with the leadership team to forecast future hiring needs and staffing ratios. Coordinates with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in different areas and departments.
  • Manages the Recruitment Authorization workflow.
  • Manages the Applicant Tracking System, and recruitment reports.
  • Assess candidates’ information, including employment application, resumes, and references.
  • Maintains records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork.
  • Conducts increased outreach efforts and focuses on employer branding initiatives.
  • Plans, organizes, and promotes organizational recruitment events.
  • Responsible for networking with various schools/programs, including workforce development boards, to establish top candidate pipelines and promote the organization and industry staffing needs.
  • Responsible for implementing a sourcing strategy to include social media, employer review site, video interviewing, mobile recruitment, inclusive job advertisements, and job boards and associations.
  • Assists with developing and updating Job Descriptions and creates/updates interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
  • Manages the Employee Referral Program.
  • Assist in refining the onboarding process that sets candidates up for success.
  • Assist in identifying high-potential employees and career growth opportunities.
  • Design and manage internship programs, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance tracking.
  • Assists in supporting the Human Resources Department, in other areas, as needed.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, in-services, projects, and committees as assigned.
  • Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner; and perform all other related duties as assigned.
  • May be required to use personal vehicle, if applicable. If using a personal vehicle, a valid California Driver’s License is required.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experience in using talent acquisition/sourcing tools to proactively source candidates.
  • A keen understanding of the requirements for each role in the company.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and being able to build relationships, to facilitate a pleasant candidate experience.
  • Highly professional, well-organized, motivated, and results driven.
  • Demonstrates exceptional interviewing skills
  • Demonstrates an understanding of confidentiality
  • Display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to access all areas of the center throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds occasionally, 15 pounds frequently, and 7 pounds constantly; required to obtain assistance of another employee when attempting to lift or transfer objects over 50 pounds.
  • Requires constant hand grasp and finger dexterity; frequent sitting, standing, walking and repetitive leg and arm movements, occasional bending, reaching forward and overhead; squatting and kneeling.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with an excellent comprehension of the English language.
  • Work is generally performed in an indoor, well-lighted, well-ventilated, heated, and air-conditioned environment.


Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population.
  • Education and Certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Equivalent related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Is medically cleared for communicable diseases and has all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant contact.
