POSITION SUMMARY: 

Talent Acquisition Specialists lead full-cycle recruiting to support field and corporate staffing needs in alignment with company goals. They act as the primary liaison between hiring managers and candidates, ensuring an efficient and seamless hiring process. They source, screen, and coordinate interviews for a range of roles, monitor recruiting progress, and adjust strategies to meet workforce demands. Their work helps minimize hiring gaps and supports safe, continuous oil and gas operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Joining the recruiting team to execute progressive and effective recruiting initiatives.
• Build a network to maintain a qualified pool of potential candidates in advance of need.
• Maintain regular contact with candidates until accepted offer of employment and then between accepted offer and 
on-boarding.
• Update applicant tracker in real time.
• Frequent and accurate communication with other recruiters, applicants, HR, and management.
• Handle high volume sourcing and calling of candidates for both admin and field positions as assigned.
• Completing the full process from selection to getting the applicant in the door for onboarding which includes, but not 
limited to; getting completed applications, verifying positions, gaps in employment, running background checks, 
making sure applicant is qualified, verify documents, getting approval from HR, answering applicant questions, follow 
up, communication, and getting the applicant to the door to onboard (what to bring, where to go, time, etc.)
• Efficiently and effectively fill all open positions.
• Report suggestions for candidate recruiting.
• Working understanding of the screening process/cross train in unassigned areas.
• Become an expert user of recruiting platforms.
• Source and recruit candidates for both administrative (as needed) and field positions as directed, making 
recommendations on candidates to hire.
• Review and suggest improvements on job postings (frequency, edits, sources, etc.).
• Build a network including current employees to foster referral candidates
• Evaluate candidates based on work history, communications, background, qualifications, fit, availability, and red flags. 
• Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates through on-boarding and into employment.
• Other duties and projects as assigned



Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to work with minimal mistakes in a fast-paced environment
  • Expertise in recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and ATS platform
  • 3-5 years of relevant HR/Recruiting experience preferred
  • Oilfield industry experience is a strong preference
  • Knowledge in DOT compliance is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or HR Certification preferred

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant HR/Recruiting experience preferred

Computer Skills: Advanced

Certificates & Licenses:

• Valid Driver License with acceptable driving history
• Completion of company required trainings

Other requirements:

• Basic reading, writing, speaking, and math skills (Proficient in English)
• Pass drug test and criminal background check
• Successfully pass all onboarding training requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Talent Acquisition Specialist always work indoors at the corporate office. Hours fluctuate and vary according to Operations demand. No shift can be guaranteed, and long hours may be required. Shifts may begin at different hours of the day or evening. Talent Acquisition Specialist must follow all company and site safety rules and be responsible. This is not only to protect the safety of the Talent Acquisition Specialist but for other workers, the community, and the environment.
