Talent Acquisition Specialist- Human Resources

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources Talent Team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist conducts talent acquisition and recruitment activities. Collaborates with business unit leaders to recruit and onboard candidates. Maintains and supports resources and shares techniques and best practices so that the organization can attract sufficient numbers of qualified and interested candidates to staff our operations.

Schedule: 1.0FTE, Full-Time. Monday-Friday, Regular business hours

Locations: People Incorporated Ames Impact Center: 3000 Ames Crossing Rd, Suite 600, Eagan, MN 55121

Hiring Range: $56,000 - $60,000/ Salary. Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Main Job Duties:

  • Partners with business leaders across the agency to offer recruitment and onboarding solution
  • Manages the recruitment process across the agency as needs are identified.
  • Reviews and assesses candidate qualifications for positions, identifying best potential fits for programs.
  • Creates and executes advertising plans for all open positions, assessing the best and most appropriate visibility for all jobs. Adjusts advertising plans to accommodate difficult to fill positions.
  • Acts as an agency SME regarding compensation, advising managers regarding the compensation plan and recommending offers. Participates on the Compensation Team to advise on necessary pay grade and market adjustments based on recruiting efforts.
  • Welcomes inquiries from both internal and external candidates about hiring, compensation and benefits. Represents the agency at external events and creates a welcoming and professional image.
  • Functions as the organization’s subject matter expert on our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) providing training and coaching on its operations, updating position data and addressing end-user related inquiries so our customer utilize it appropriately and to its fullest capabilities.
  • Compose, prepare and deliver letters of acceptance, letters to rescind offers, general benefit related materials, and general correspondence.
  • Maintain current knowledge of employment and recruitment best practices, laws, trends and issues related to hiring and the mental health/chemical dependency community.
  • Attendance is an essential function of this position.


Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or four years of related experience.
  • Minimum of one year of prior recruitment experience which includes job posting, new hire processing, orientation coordination and job fair participation.
  • Preference given to candidates with prior staffing and/or recruitment experience in a not-for-profit work environment
  • Must have valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance.
