  • Motion Technologies: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~ 4,000; operates in 13 countries) manufactures brake components and specialized sealing solutions, shock absorbers and damping technologies primarily for the global automotive, truck and trailer, public bus and rail transportation markets. 
  • Industrial Process: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts. 
  • Connect and Control Technologies: (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of ~ 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.

 

Position Summary

The Global Talent Acquisition team is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will work with and advise our corporate and plant area hiring leaders on specific recruiting strategies to source, attract, and hire talent into our high-performing culture.  You will be accountable for full cycle recruiting that includes sourcing highly qualified candidate through a variety of channels, conducting phones screens and interviews, negotiation, and compensation analysis, and offer letter preparation.  In addition, it will be expected to collaborate with HR Site Leaders to focus on workforce demands to meet the overall business and service objectives. The role will be Remote or Hybrid, depending on location of the applicant.  The job will require 10% travel to our company manufacturing sites.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Work directly as part of the corporate Global Talent Acquisition team to drive towards recruiting operational excellence, focusing on speed and cost of hire
  • Build and manage consultative relationships with candidates, HR Business Partners and hiring leaders across our Global operations
  • Activate strategic talent channels to build high-impact pipelines of talent relevant to various needs of a global scale manufacturing company including but not limited to accounting/finance, marketing, operations, various engineering disciplines, skilled trades, IT, HR, quality, administrative, sales etc.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies, screen/submit candidates and conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders to ensure effective fulfillment of positions in timely manner
  • Consistently create an incredible candidate experience to drive positive employment brand awareness
  • A key user of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), s/he will monitor performance of our candidate experience, understanding and replicating best practices, improve where performance lags
  • Determine best approaches to discover top talent through direct search, professional networking, referrals, social media, job boards, colleges, and recruitment partnerships to deliver top-notch candidates in an efficient and effective manner
  • Support optimization initiatives of recruiting process/tools/systems
  • Manage ongoing relationships with recruiting-related vendors to ensure satisfactory and compliant standards of service.
  • Project participation and execution as needed

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years of experience recruiting in corporate or agency focusing on industrial/manufacturing recruitment including skilled trades to professional management roles
  • Corporate experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong background in recruiting generalist arena (sourcing all facets of a global industrial organization including Operations, Engineering, Skilled Trades, Finance, IT, HR, Sales etc.) 
  • Track record of success attracting professional-level talent in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel and Power Point)
  • Advanced user of recruiting technologies, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search strings and other related systems and tactics
  • Previous experience working with ATS’s required

Equal Pay Act Range

Annual Salary Range is $70,800 to $105,400 plus benefits and incentive plans.
