Position Summary

Fisher’s Technology is seeking a motivated, organized, and people-focused professional to join our HR team as an entry-level Talent Acquisition Specialist. This role plays an important part in helping Fisher’s attract and hire great talent across the organization.


The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports recruiting efforts from candidate sourcing through initial screening and interview coordination. This role partners closely with hiring managers to identify strong candidates while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about connecting great people with great opportunities.


Requirements
  • Support recruiting efforts across the organization, including job postings, candidate sourcing, initial phone screenings, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer preparation.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring timelines to support successful hiring outcomes.
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, college partnerships, networking, and other recruiting channels.
  • Conduct initial phone interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and alignment with Fisher’s culture and values.
  • Deliver exceptional service and communication to both candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews while ensuring timely and professional communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure recruiting activities comply with company policies, procedures, and employment regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective candidates through proactive outreach, networking, and follow-up.
  • Track, analyze, and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and candidate pipeline status.
  • Develop and improve recruiting policies, procedures, and strategies that support the company’s ability to attract and hire high-quality talent.
  • Support employment branding initiatives and participate in recruiting events such as job fairs, college outreach, and networking opportunities.
  • Train hiring managers on recruiting procedures and help ensure consistent adherence to the company’s hiring process.
  • Assist with onboarding coordination when needed to help ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Follow documented procedures and effectively utilize recruiting systems and tools to maintain operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Management is preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience or HR experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and open positions.
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with candidates, hiring managers and partners.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems preferred but not required.
