Job Purpose:
The primary responsibility of a Talent Acquisition Specialist is to coordinate recruitment efforts for EPI.

Essential Functions:
Partner with hiring managers to post openings, coordinate job fairs, open interview at various work sites, and use social media to fill vacancies.
Responsible for screening resumes and coordinating applicant flow via a variety of recruitment sources.
Assist hiring managers with interviews as needed and ensure alignment with company values.
Review and update Recruitment Processes frequently, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and revising as necessary.
Always deliver top-notch customer service while maintaining professional composure.
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government regulations affecting human resources functions related to the hiring process.
Be a role model in terms of policy compliance, workplace safety, judicious use of financial resources, and constructive working relationships with colleagues.
Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion concerning onboarding information and other personnel actions.
Ensure information is accurate at all times
May serve on established and/or ad hoc agency committees or project teams as requested.

Education and Experience:
Min. Associates degree in related field. Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred; or combination of education and experience in Human Resources.
Solid verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with all persons supported and employees within various levels of the organization

Complete required regulatory training within 90 days of being hired and annually thereafter.
Maintain current certifications with all required trainings and regulatory matters pertaining to hiring, to include I-9 guidelines.
Must be receptive to feedback; willing and interested in continuous improvement and leadership development.
Able to work independently and as a collaborator

Maintain a valid New York State driver's license; a vehicle is required to perform the job; Employee may be required to travel.
