Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. This position will also be involved in marketing initiatives for the company to promote the Companyโ€™s reputation as a โ€œbest place to work.โ€

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an overall recruiting strategy
  • Collaborate with department managers on regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, social media networks, and utilize employee referrals
  • Source, network, and recruit candidates by using databases, job boards social media, etc.
  • Screen candidate resumes and job applications to qualify for open positions as well as maintain the ATS for active and passive prospects
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates
  • Assess applicantsโ€™ relative knowledge, skills, and soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) through Paycom database
  • Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
  • Proficient with, or the ability to quickly learn applicant tracking software
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and applicable laws
