Position Summary:

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for the recruitment of all vacancies within the organization. Collaborates with hiring managers to identify staffing needs as well as advising of best recruitment practices . Conduct job searches and review of all applications received, ensuring applicants meet the minimum job requirements. Assist hiring managers, as requested, within the interview process.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee scope of the entire lifecycle of the recruitment process to include identification of staffing needs, passively sourcing for opportunities, pre screening, presenting to hiring managers for review, and tracking of metrics needed.
  • Passively sources for all positions posted to generate interest and maintains a continuous relationship for candidates in an ongoing pursuit of smooth operating applicant/candidate pipeline.
  • Reviews all applications to ensure minimum job requirements are met, ensure all compliance details met before qualifying for next step.
  • Qualifies, phone screens and initiates a documented write up to hiring manager of qualified candidates to arrange one on one interview with the manager (s) in a timely fashion.
  • Assist hiring managers in interview process which may include scheduling, coordinating with all parties invested, attending, and following up on feedback. 
  • Collaborates with hiring managers for open requisitions to discuss needs, develop an understanding of the role and continues ongoing communication.
  • Prepare individual monthly reports on time to fill, quantity of interviews, recruitment sources, average time to fill vacancies, etc.
  • Work with colleges, universities, and trade schools to post positions, attend career fairs and source applicants.
  • Partner with Coordinator once a candidate has been identified for offer to trigger the initial the on-boarding process and support with any information needed to execute the required screenings.
  • Conducts post interview for new hires within a 60-90 day time frame to strengthen retention and gather information for continuous recruiting and training improvement.


Qualifications

Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • SHRM Certification preferred.
  • 3-5 year’s previous recruitment experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • Two year’s previous physician recruitment experience preferred.
