About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and help attract, engage, and hire top talent who will drive our success. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full-cycle recruiting across Hamilton Beach Brands and its global operations. This role partners with business leaders and HR teams to attract, assess, and hire talent for corporate, operational, technical, manufacturing, sales, and leadership roles. The role will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by improving recruiting processes, strengthening talent pipelines, and helping deliver a consistent, efficient, and high-quality candidate experience.

This is a hybrid position and is based in our Corporate Headquarters in Glen Allen, Va. This role will report to the Senior Director, Global Human Resources.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for corporate, operational, technical, manufacturing, sales, and leadership roles. Partner with hiring managers to define needs, develop recruiting strategies, source and assess candidates, coordinate interviews, and support offer development and hiring decisions.
  • Consult with business leaders and hiring managers to understand current and future talent needs, develop recruiting plans, share labor market insights, and support workforce planning aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles through direct sourcing, networking, talent communities, university partnerships, and external recruiting channels.
  • Partner with HR leaders across the U.S., Mexico, Ireland, Canada, and affiliated business units to support recruiting initiatives, talent acquisition strategies, internship programs, and emerging talent pipelines.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate quality, and hiring outcomes. Prepare reports and provide insights that support data-driven talent acquisition decisions.
  • Develop recruiting communications, coordinate hiring process activities, guide HR teams and hiring managers, and support recruiting-related work performed by HR support staff.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of progressive recruiting or talent acquisition experience preferred.
  • Experience recruiting professional, technical, and leadership positions.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior leaders and hiring managers.
  • Experience managing external search firms and recruiting vendors.
  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, and assessment skills.
  • Experience using ATS and recruiting technology platforms.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-location organizations.
  • Experience developing university relations or emerging talent programs.
  • Manufacturing, consumer products, or distribution experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
