JOB SUMMARY
Under the administrative supervision and guidance of the Human Resource Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist partners with hiring managers to develop strategy and recruitment processes while executing sourcing and talent management efforts to include: attracting, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding activities that support a highly engaged workforce for Curry Health Network. The Talent Acquisition Specialist ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and upholds the confidentiality of applicant and employee information at all times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Recruitment & Hiring: manages the full-cycle talent acquisition process for all Curry Health Network positions, including internal and external candidates. Works collaboratively with hiring managers to identify role-specific competencies and hiring needs. Develops and executes recruitment strategies that include job posting optimization, job board procurement, recruitment marketing, community engagement, and career event participation.
Licensure Verification & Job Description Collection: verifies licensure and certification requirements for all positions before a candidate’s start date. Ensures valid, up-to-date job descriptions are signed by employees and uploaded into UKG.
Applicant Tracking & Processing: posts open positions on appropriate platforms in accordance with internal procedures and recruitment best practices. Removes job postings as positions are filled. Processes all internal and external applications, prescreens candidates, and forwards qualified applicants to hiring managers. Schedules and participates in interviews when necessary.
Database Management: enters new hires into the HRIS and applicant tracking system database. Ensures that employee data is entered accurately and maintained in accordance with established standards. Updates Nursys as required to ensure license verification compliance.
Community Outreach & Talent Sourcing: builds applicant sources by establishing relationships with colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, job boards, and community partners. Participates in college/technical school programs and career fairs to expand candidate pipelines. Represents the organization with professionalism and enthusiasm, promoting Curry Health Network as an employer of choice.
Position Control Collaboration: collaborates with the HR Coordinator on position control by ensuring that new, revised, or closed positions are accurately reflected in all systems and databases.
