Division Description

ITW Deltar Fasteners is a large division within the Automotive Segment and serves all the major OEMs and their tier suppliers with plastic fasteners. Locations include Frankfort, IL, Chippewa Falls, WI and our Commercial Sales and Engineering in Troy, MI.

Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide world-class recruiting support to the full life cycle of our ITW hiring process; the primary focus will be supporting and recruiting for the Deltar Fasteners operations salaried exempt positions and hourly non-exempt positions for the Division.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for all functional areas of Deltar Fasteners including all exempt and non-exempt positions. 
  • Lead all staffing metrics related to life cycle of requisitions.
  • Actively participate in all staffing-related activities, e.g., career fairs, technical schools, and lead cross-functional projects.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting talent across multiple locations.
  • Ensure OFCCP and FLSA compliance by following recruitment processes, rules, and regulations to include proper documentation and dispositioning of candidates; maintain accurate and well-organized documentation on all candidates
  • Maintain an ongoing relationship & communication with HR & Management to provide continuous feedback.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the employee onboarding process for new hires including preparing orientation materials, conducting new hire orientations, and completing required paperwork.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members on policy updates and compliance training.
  • Direct the summer internship program, delivering best-in-class intern candidate pipeline, exceptional intern experience, and measurable conversion of high-potential interns into full-time hires.
  • Utilizes various media, including online employment websites, trade publications, referrals, and university job boards to source candidates. Co-lead university recruiting efforts for assigned locations.
  • Generate reports and analytics on the end-to-end lifecycle.
  • Create a consistent employee experience positioning ITW as an employee of choice. 
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

  • B.A. /B.S. in Business, Communication, Human Resources, or other related field.
  • Familiar with using different Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to post positions
  • Comfortable using a variety of social media platforms and able to work with several digital footprints; Linked In and other assigned tools
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Willing to travel up 10%

Compensation Information:

$85,000-$100,000
