Your Role:

We are growing fast and we are looking to add a Talent Acquisition Specialist to our team.  This role will support both the Human Resources and Recruiting team.

The ideal candidate is smart, detailed orientated, is client focused and keen to be a part of something great!

Must Haves:

• 3–7 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a strong focus on financial services or finance-related roles
• HR involves a lot of interaction with team members, prospective hires and third parties. Working with limited information is common, need to be a problem solver, curious and solution oriented.
• Fast paced environment - must be able to pivot at the last minute on urgent requests while ensuring long term projects are still being worked on.
• Strong decision-making skills to convey solutions to areas of concern
• Proven ability handling difficult situations and use of good judgement based on experience and knowledge.
  
• Confidentiality is key. This role will be privy to conversations and discussions that are sensitive.
• Intermediate MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Slack

• Proficiency with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean search strings)

The Work:

• Own the end-to-end recruitment process
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring strategies
• Create campaigns for student recruitment including attending career fares

• Knowledge of Canadian employment standards and hiring practices
• Build and promote the company’s presence on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok
• Share: Employee stories, Culture content and Hiring campaigns
• Run targeted hiring campaigns for hard-to-fill roles
• Actively engage with talent pools: Respond to comments/messages and join relevant groups/communities
• Build relationships with passive candidates

• Human Resource related responsibilities including Onboarding and Offboarding of employees
• Experience with HRIS/ATS systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, BambooHR)
• Participate in companywide events
• Maintain good relationships with all of the teams.  This will include our Calgary offices as well as those located nationally
