Your Mission: Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) will screen and source candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events. In addition, the (TAS) will nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. The Talent Acquisition team focuses on providing all new hires across Sun Health with a smooth, consistent, and efficient onboarding experience. The (TAS) facilitates a smooth and seamless onboarding process for all newly hired team members.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Screening
- Manage assigned requisitions from intake through offer acceptance, including applicant review, screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation.
- Identify, assess, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear recommendations.
- Conduct structured interviews using behavioral and competency-based techniques.
- Support hiring decisions for high-volume or hard-to-fill roles as delegated.
- Ensure candidate evaluations align with job requirements and organizational standards.
Hiring Manager Partnership
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, role requirements, and hiring priorities.
- Provide guidance on selection criteria, interview strategies, and recruiting approaches.
- Maintain regular communication with hiring leaders regarding candidate status and recruiting progress.
- Ensure job descriptions and interview guides are accurate, current, and compliant.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact throughout the recruitment process.
Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development
- Proactively source candidates using job boards, professional networks, social platforms, and referrals.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring, critical, and hard-to-fill roles.
- Engage and maintain relationships with active and passive candidates.
- Represent Sun Health at recruitment and career events.
- Promote Sun Health's employment brand to attract qualified talent.
Candidate Experience & Offer Management
- Communicate clearly and consistently with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Educate candidates on role expectations, culture, compensation, and benefits.
- Coordinate and extend job offers in partnership with hiring leaders and HR.
- Conduct reference checks and employment verifications as appropriate.
- Ensure smooth transition to the Talent Service Center following offer acceptance.
Systems, Compliance & Process Improvement
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support ATS training, administration, and process enhancements.
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws and organizational policies.
- Monitor recruiting metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in recruiting practices and tools.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or related field required.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in HR and recruiting, or a comparable combination of experience.
- Experience in recruiting and onboarding, healthcare experience preferred.
- Possess current or has the ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
