POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources and serve as a strategic partner to hiring teams across the organization. With experience in both manufacturing and corporate recruiting, you’ll play a critical role in identifying and hiring top talent that aligns with our business goals. This high-visibility position provides an opportunity to make a significant impact by shaping the future of our workforce.

Can you find a needle in a haystack? We are looking for someone who can define a sourcing strategy to leverage multiple channels such as direct contact, LinkedIn, niche associations, employee referrals, internal applicants, and other relevant sources to identify and attract qualified talent based on position requirements and objectives. This role will lead and find opportunities to enhance full lifecycle recruitment processes to support both our corporate recruiting and plant hourly roles.
Can you read people? Use your strong assessment skills to screen and interview candidates in order to match hiring criteria and BrassCraft qualities. Have the courage to identify and voice concerns when appropriate so we can avoid hiring mistakes.
Can you build positive relationships? This role requires you to exemplify strong consultative skills to partner with hiring managers, provide guidance and be the subject matter expert when it comes to hiring. Be bold enough to provide differing input and raise concerns. You will evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and skills to ensure they align with position requirements and organizational principles.
On occasion, you’ll also partner with outside vendors when needed.

Got analytical skills? Those will be needed to prepare offer recommendations that meet both candidate and business needs and ultimately secure top talent to the organization. This means being proactive to address potential gaps in expectations to ensure offer acceptance and then working with the HR Business Partner/Managers to finalize and extend offers.
Can you market open jobs? Collaborate with hiring managers to create attractive and enticing job descriptions for new openings. No more boring job descriptions! Promote and build employer brand through online platforms. Know which positions to post where and be able to leverage multiple platforms and posting sites for niche positions.
Are you efficient? We have established recruitment processes and are always looking for ways to improve and increase our efficiency. Share your experience and ideas so we can create and maintain best practices that provide the ultimate positive experience for our candidates and hiring managers.
Are you socially and internet savvy? Do you love being on social platforms? As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you can assist in promoting and building the BrassCraft employer brand using our online platforms and participating in other branding activities.
Do you enjoy special projects? You’ll also participate in various related projects, tasks, and trainings that contribute to our overall success (i.e. interviewing skills training, LinkedIn training, company initiatives).
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT:
You are a motivated and enthusiastic recruiter who thrives on finding the right talent for the right roles. With strong interpersonal skills, you excel at building relationships across all levels of an organization and enjoy working collaboratively within a team environment.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field—or bring an equivalent combination of education and experience. You have at least 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with a solid background in both manufacturing and corporate recruiting. A foundation in Human Resources, whether through education or prior roles, is a strong plus.
You understand that relationships are key to successful hiring. You know how to partner with hiring managers, guide them through the recruitment process, and ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all stakeholders.
Your interviewing skills are sharp—you know how to assess candidates effectively, identify potential gaps, and ask the right questions to uncover deeper insights.
You’re comfortable navigating Applicant Tracking Systems and HR platforms. Experience with Workday and Phenom is a plus, and you're proficient in Microsoft Office, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other CRM and ATS tools.
