The Talent Acquisition Sourcer plays a crucial role in identifying and attracting top talent for Vantage Data Centers. This role involves proactively sourcing, engaging, and nurturing relationships with potential candidates through various channels. The Talent Acquisition Sourcer works closely with Talent Acquisition (TA) Partners and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and build a pipeline of qualified candidates for various departments such as New Site Development, Construction, Operations, Sales, Finance, Tech & Systems, and Legal. This position requires excellent research skills, creativity in sourcing strategies, and the ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions

  • Candidate Sourcing:
    • Utilize various sourcing methods such as LinkedIn, Indeed, local job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals to identify potential candidates through effective search strings.
    • Take ownership, drive research, and sourcing efforts for assigned searches across various technical functions (e.g., facilities engineers, automation specialists, etc).
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of passive candidates for current and future hiring needs.
    • Deliver qualified, diverse candidates for hard-to-fill positions and screen candidates to qualify them for roles.
    • Post enhanced and inclusive job descriptions by utilizing our technology stack across various job boards.
  • Engagement and Outreach:
    • Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage passive candidates, including crafting compelling messages and leveraging employer branding.
    • Conduct initial screenings and assessments of candidate qualifications and fit for open positions.
    • Maintain regular communication with potential candidates to keep them engaged throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaboration:
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to better understand the business and needs of each department.
    • Collaborate and advise leaders on search strategies, candidate profiles, candidate pipeline, and industry trends and insights.
    • Work in partnership with all internal stakeholders and departments.
    • Meet regularly with hiring managers and TA Partners you directly support.
    • Establish rapport and be a trusted talent advisor to business partners and team members
  • Database Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Track and report on sourcing metrics and activities to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies.
    • Ensure all candidate interactions and sourcing activities align with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Employer Branding:
    • Promote the companyโ€™s employer brand through social media, networking events, and other channels.
    • Participate in career fairs, industry events, and other networking opportunities to build relationships and promote the company as an employer of choice.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Utilize data analysis and market insights to make informed decisions and recommendations.
    • Innovate to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems and processes resulting in increased and measurable candidate delivery.
    • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance the overall talent acquisition strategy.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

  • Education:
    • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or relevant experience.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of strategic sourcing experience in Construction, Engineering, Data Centers, or an equivalent field.
  • Skills:
    • Good knowledge of the North America recruitment landscape.
    • Experience with ATS and sourcing tools.
    • Strong understanding of sourcing methods and strategies.
    • Focus on candidate experience, action-orientated, and motivated by results.
    • Experience sourcing or cold calling.
    • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter + Indeed, and advanced knowledge of Boolean search string creation.
    • Track record of building talent pipeline through passive sourcing efforts and candidate engagement
    • Working knowledge of relevant employment market trends
    • Strong ability to track and manage data and workflows.
  • Travel required is expected to be up to 10% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
