About the Role:

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter primary responsibility is to recruit and onboard all new employees. They are responsible for the employee lifecycle up to Orientation. This position works closely with the Human Resources Department and Payroll team. 

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process for assigned roles, from job posting through offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and timelines, and to develop clear, compelling job postings.
  • Proactively source, screen, and evaluate candidates using job boards, referrals, networking, and social media channels.
  • Review resumes and applications, conduct initial candidate screenings, and assess qualifications to advance top talent through the hiring process.
  • Facilitate and manage candidate applications through Paycom, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely updates.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and interview teams, including follow up and panel interviews as needed.
  • Track, collect, and maintain interview data, candidate feedback, and recruitment metrics throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Provide timely, professional communication to candidates and hiring managers to ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience.
  • Coordinate start dates, onboarding schedules, and orientation logistics in partnership with HR, training, and operations teams.
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and ensure all pre employment and new hire documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Support workforce planning by collaborating with training and scheduling teams to meet field staffing and headcount demands.
  • Maintain organized and up to date employee and recruitment documentation in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in weekly stand ups, training sessions, hiring meetings, and other business or HR meetings as required.
  • Organize, attend, and support hiring events, job fairs, and employer branding initiatives as needed.
  • Assist the Human Resources team with additional projects, reporting, and administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Stay current on talent acquisition trends, sourcing strategies, and best practices to continuously improve hiring outcomes.
  • Keep abreast of regulations and compliance rules related to employment, background, recruiting, etc. for all states TechnoGuard operates in.

Additional Expectation

  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including prolonged periods of sitting or standing, computer use, verbal and written communication, and occasional lifting or movement of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Some travel required, less than 20%

  • Hiring metrics such as time to fill, candidate quality, and interview conversion trends show continuous improvement.
  • TechnoGuard’s employer brand is positively represented at hiring events, in job postings, and in all candidate interactions.


Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3+ years of prior experience in recruiting and hiring.
  • Experience supporting recruitment or HR functions within the construction, field services, manufacturing, or similar operational environment is preferred.
  • Hands on experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems; Paycom experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in using online recruiting platforms, including Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter, to source and engage candidates.
  • Comfortable conducting interviews and collaborating with candidates and hiring managers using video conferencing tools such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
  • Self motivated and capable of managing multiple requisitions and priorities independently.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast paced, high volume environment.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability, with the ability to meet hiring timelines and respond quickly to evolving staffing needs.
